How Energy Prices are Determined
- Energy is a commodity traded on the Nynx, which means prices fluctuate daily with the market; so the day you lock your price is a factor in your final cost.
- The amount of usage consumed every month.
- The length of time you lock your energy price. (1 year, 2 years, etc.)
- Floating rate- This is a month to month agreement.
- Green energy- 50% to a 100% of energy used can be wind or solar generated.
